The CASAMBI Salvador SAL-1064 controller—a device for integrating wired DALI networks into the Casambi ecosystem.
The Salvador 1000 series controllers are available in three versions—for 16, 32 or 64 devices.
The Salvador SAL-1064 allows you to configure and control a wired DALI network comprising up to 64 individual luminaires via the CASAMBI app. For each DALI device, a virtual device will be created in the CASAMBI app with the appropriate widget depending on the type of luminaire. DT-6 and DT-8 devices are supported, such as Dim, TW, RGB, RGBW or RGB-TW.
The CASAMBI Salvador SAL-1064 gateway does not support the integration of DALI switches and sensors; control is carried out via the corresponding CASAMBI Ready and EnOcean devices.
The Salvador Series 1000 controller allows you to address, programme and control wired DALI drivers individually from the Casambi app. This makes it possible to create hybrid networks comprising both wireless Casambi Ready devices and wired DALI devices. This allows you to expand or modernise existing DALI installations by supplementing them with modern, wireless control systems, such as EnOcean switches. All DALI drivers connected to Salvador can be easily programmed and controlled in the same way as Casambi Ready devices via the Casambi App. This eliminates the need to connect a dedicated DALI master controller for pre-configuring devices, and also removes the need for complex software to configure the DALI installation. All necessary changes can be made using a smartphone or tablet with the CASAMBI app installed.
Furthermore, the Salvador series offers data analytics capabilities, retrieving and analysing D4i data from DALI networks, thereby facilitating informed decision-making and improving efficiency.
