The name of the floor lamp “The Sixth Sense” refers to the concept of the “sixth sense”, or more precisely, to proprioception. Proprioception is a muscle sense that lets us perceive the location of our body in space and navigate in the dark. “It can be developed to a various degree: some people can easily reach the door without turning on the light, while others find it difficult to touch the tip of their nose with the eyes closed. Therefore, the idea emerged to create a lamp that could be used by touch, with a lightweight control system and a special design. The floor lamp has a cross-shaped base, thanks to which it can be placed close to a desk, bed, or sofa. It can also easily fit between various pieces of furniture. The switches are located above the lights, so you can reach them without getting up from your seat.
