Lighting design trends are constantly evolving, reflecting changes in technology, culture, and consumer preferences. Based on current patterns, here are some potential lighting design trends that may grow in popularity:

  • Smart Lighting: With the increasing integration of technology in our daily lives, we can expect smart lighting to become more popular. Smart lighting systems will likely improve in terms of compatibility, connectivity, and voice control features. This is confirmed by more than 100 Casambi networks at the exhibition.
  • Human-centric Lighting: This concept is focused on creating lighting solutions that support human well-being and productivity by considering the physiological and psychological impact of light. This may involve tunable white technologies, circadian lighting, and biologically-effective lighting solutions to adapt the lighting to individual user needs.
  • Battery-powered lamps: have become increasingly popular as a trend in the lighting industry. These lamps are versatile, portable, and more energy-efficient compared to traditional plugged-in lamps. While battery-powered lamps are certainly a growing trend in the lighting industry, it is essential to consider their limitations, like the need for battery replacements or recharging. However, as technology advances and energy storage solutions improve, battery-operated lamps may become an even more attractive and viable option for many lighting applications.
  • Minimalist Design: The minimalist trend is likely to persist, with designers using clean lines and forms to create understated yet elegant lighting fixtures. The focus will be on creating versatile, practical, and aesthetically pleasing solutions that complement various architectural and interior design styles.
  • Concealed lighting: The trend for concealed lighting is indeed on the rise, as more people desire clean, minimalist spaces while still optimizing their interior's aesthetic and functionality. The main idea behind concealed lighting is for the fixtures to remain inconspicuous, allowing the light itself to take center stage and create the desired ambiance.
  • Organic and Natural Forms: Another design trend may involve lighting fixtures inspired by nature, using organic shapes, materials, or patterns. Fixtures might be crafted from sustainable resources and incorporate components like wood, bamboo, or recycled materials.
  • Bold colors and mixed materials: On the other end of the aesthetic spectrum, bold colors, eclectic material choices, and unique textures could find their way into lighting design. Designers may combine metals, glass, ceramics, fabrics, or natural elements to create eye-catching and innovative fixtures.
  • Vintage and Industrial Styles: Retro and industrial aesthetics may continue to inspire lighting designs, with exposed bulbs, aged finishes, and repurposed components giving a nod to the past.
The light fascinates, and the beautiful light delights.
I can say that the exhibition is very well organized. It's a great idea to hold an exhibition lighting in dark pavilions. When you go inside, it's like you're in a fabulous place. The stands of manufacturers amaze with their dimensions and design. The eyes are delighted and the heart beats.

Among the stands, you could find many light installations and spaces that were created by designers to demonstrate the possibilities of lighting and lighting solutions.

And of course, it should be noted the pavilions with furniture, where on the stands you can immerse yourself in the living space and see what kind of lighting is chosen by famous designers and how it is used in ready-made residential interiors.

If you have never been to this exhibition, then I highly recommend visiting it. The light fascinates, and the beautiful light delights.

Well, I will look forward to the new exhibition.
Sincerely yours Angelica Luz.
